What You Should Know:

ALL RELIGIONS ARE WELCOME

We admit learners of all religious denominations.  It is, however, an expressed condition of a learner’s admission to our school that she attends Mass and participates in Religion Education classes.

SCHOLARSHIPS

St Dominic’s School annually awards a limited number of Academic and Sports Scholarships to learners who exhibit the ability or the potential to excel.

Scholarships are awarded in the candidate’s Grade 7 year and will pay up to 50% of the school fees for Grade 8 to Grade 12, subject to certain conditions.

The Scholarship assessments are usually written shortly after Open Day, which usually takes place early in February.

INCLUSIVE FEE STRUCTURE

Our fee structure includes educational excursions, outings and visits, retreats, study skills, the annual school yearbook, annual individual photographs, the school diary, counseling, aftercare, homework supervision, remedial and academic support.

Text books, stationery, uniforms and overnight tours are excluded from the school fees.

THE APPLICATION PROCESS

You may apply online, in person or by e-mail.

Following receipt of your application, the School Secretary will contact you to invite you to complete the application process, which involves a family interview with the Principal or a person from Senior Management.

Applicants for Primary and Senior School will be required to write entrance assessments in Mathematics and English.

Copies of the following documents are required to support your application:

  1. Child’s ID document or birth certificate.
  2. both parents ID documents.
  3. Child’s Clinic Card (for Pre-School and Primary School applications).
  4. ID document/passport of the person responsible for paying the school fees (if this person is a third party).
  5. A recent photograph of your child (head and shoulders)
  6. Child’s Baptism certificate (if Catholic)
  7. Child’s most recent school report
  8. Bank statements (3 months) of the parent/ guardian/third party responsible for payment of the school fees

If your daughter is offered a place at St Dominic’s, you will be required to sign the Conditions of Enrolment Contract, and you will be asked to pay a non-refundable enrolment fee.

The application fee is R500.
This can be paid in person by Debit/Credit card, or by EFT into the following account:
