Senior School

There are about 440 learners from Grade 8 to 12, with a maximum class size of 26 learners. The National Core Curriculum is followed in Gr 8 – 11, while our Matrics write the Independent Examination Board (IEB) Examinations. We offer a wide variety of subjects, as well as sporting and cultural activities. Our aim is to ensure that our learners receive good values and a quality all round education, producing young ladies who are well equipped to succeed in life.

FUTURE-FOCUSED EDUCATION
At St Dominic’s we prepare our students for a future where technology is moving at an unprecedented pace. With this in mind our future-focused curriculum embraces critical 21st century skills: collaboration, critical thinking, computing skills, communication, creative problem solving and adaptability.
A WEALTH OF OPPORTUNITY
We aim to develop confidence in our young women by ensuring that they are spiritually, morally, academically physically and emotionally resilient. To this end, our students are encouraged to explore the many avenues for leadership, entrepreneurship and participation without sacrificing academic excellence.
